Job Summary:

DNO is a Norwegian oil and gas operator focused on the Middle East region and the North Sea. Founded in 1971, DNO is Norway’s oldest oil company. With a leading position in terms of reserves and production in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, DNO produces around 110,000 barrels of oil per day from the flagship Tawke field.

DNO is seeking a Management of Change (MOC) Database data consolidator Intern to transfer legacy data from document control to a new database system. The task is to consolidate the legacy data into a single database for auditing and reporting purposes.

The role is time limited to the transfer of the MOC legacy datafiles to the new MOC database.

Key Responsibilities:

Auditability and traceability

• Accurate data and file handling to demonstrate and ensure accuracy of transfers. Record keeping of the task status during execution and on completion

Independent work and planning

• Efficient and planned work management, ability to work to an agreed deadline. Reporting progress against work set

Fault finding and troubleshooting

• Self checking and identifying problems with transferred data. Suggesting solutions and fixing issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in IT.
• Experience in IT data handling.

Key Competencies:

• Excellent MS office skills.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Very good skills using SharePoint.

Key Attributes:

• Working without close supervision.
• Self-checking and reliability.

The role reports Engineering Manager and will be based in Dubai office. The role will be for a short duration of 6-8 weeks, preferably candidates at an internship level with an existing UAE visa kindly apply.
