As Marketing Communication Specialist, you’ll join the Corporate Communication organization at DFDS headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey. We are a team of delivery-focused, talented and fun-loving people, whose job is to engage, convert and retain customers across touchpoints – online and offline - and guide DFDS through a journey of digital transformation.
You’ll work to serve and win customers and key audiences in relevant social channels and communities. So, whether it’s generating leads on LinkedIn, serving customers on Facebook, or generating brand awareness via Snapchat, we want your help to further develop our social media activities with a special focus on B2B audiences in Shipping and Logistics.


You will:

• To monitor the organization’s website and social media network accounts and keep them up-to-date,
• To ensure planning and organization of company events,
• To design, update and ensure production of marketing materials (promotion materials, posters, brochures, etc.),
• To monitor and ensure the control of the correct use of the corporate identity,
• To organize corporate event practices (e-bulletins, magazines, seniority prizes, etc.) and internal communication activities (management briefing),
• To prepare, distribute, and follow-up on via all necessary channels, press bulletins, questions & answers, and interview texts, in accordance with the organization’s business targets,
• Following-up on and supporting Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability projects,
• To manage events and sponsorships, and to contribute to sponsorship communication,
• Preparing and submitting the reports of the relevant division,
• To support the preparation of an annual communication plan compatible with the company’s business targets,
• To ensure application of the content of the senior management’s leadership web blog,
• To support the communication needs of the senior management,
• To carry out the corporate communication practices in coordination with DFDS Group and 3rd parties such as PR companies, advertising agencies, and digital agencies, etc.,
• To prepare, distribute, and follow-up on via all necessary channels, press bulletins, questions & answers, and interview texts, in accordance with the organization’s business targets,
• To organize preparations, control, printing, and distribution of the company’s publications,
• To coordinate media planning and media purchasing processes of the organization,
• To organize corporate event practices (e-bulletins, magazines, seniority prizes, etc.) and internal communication activities (management briefing),
• To ensure pre-printing coordination of editorial contents, photos, magazines, or printed images and to ensure that necessary approvals are obtained,


Your background:


• The role as Marketing Communication Specialist will require excellent communication skills, a passion for marketing and B2B topics, an analytical mindset, and, probably, a good sense of humor.
• Degree in preferably marketing or business majors
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and coordinate different parties of the projects
• Ability to deliver fast, business-focused output of excellent quality
• A great initiative taker, ability to initiate projects through ideas that have the high business contribution
• Skilled digital marketing professional with 2+ years of experience from working in a large international company or organization

The role as Marketing Communication Specialist is placed at DFDS headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey, and will report to the Marketing Communication Manager.
