We are now looking for a Manufacturing Operator who will be part of the team that is responsible for the production and testing of Kongsberg Maritime products. In this role you will be in forefront of enabling the business to achieve their objectives through dedication and willingness to learn the skills required to assemble and test different products in a constantly changing everyday work-life. Key accountabilities

• Electromechanical assembly, gluing, inspection, and soldering
• Test and find solutions to solve challenges
• Participate in improvement projects
• Ability and interest for learning, as training will be necessary

 

Qualifications and experience

• Quality - and solution-oriented, preferably with experience in LEAN
• Certificate of completed apprenticeship within production technique. Relevant experience in work that requires precision, for instance watchmaking or goldsmith-craft, can compensate for lack of formal education
• Experience from manufacturing, assembly, test, repair, service or similar is an advantage
• Good attitudes towards HSE and the development of HSE-work for the benefit of yourself and others
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
