The division Integration & Energy is responsible for strengthening Kongsberg Maritime’s position in the energy transition, as a leading integrator of maritime solutions. We will be focused on developing integrated solutions that creates added value for our customers within a range of segments. The division will coordinate and set direction across the product divisions in KM, and is responsible for our Energy products and systems, Remote and Autonomous development, and delivery of integrated projects.

Quality and Health Safety & Environment is key in all we do, and we are looking for someone to manage the QHSE function in two of our important business units. As Manager QHSE you will be responsible for quality, HSE and risk management and support. You will work closely with the QHSE team in the division and the business unit management teams.

We're seeking an individual who possesses a strong background in QHSE, excellent communication abilities, and a track record of customer interaction and proficiency in root cause analysis. We have confidence in your potential to make valuable contributions to our management team, where you'll play a pivotal role in embedding QHSE and risk management into every facet of our operations.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Aligned with strategy: plan, monitor, and support QHSE activities.
• Support Business Units in context related issues in project development, project delivery engineering, continuous improvement, root cause analyses and risk management
• Provide monthly status reports on customer issues to the Business Unit management and the resolution thereof.
• Control implementation of lessons learned
• Propose, develop and be ready to lead continuous improvement activities as approved by the business unit.
• Lead and contribute to proactivity through QHSE awareness, training, risk management, audit program and management
• Objectively evaluate processes, products, systems, and projects, and provide insight to leadership in Technology and ISOL management.
• Ensure maintenance of QHSE certification and competence framework in Business Units
• Proactively support the BU’s management team in QHSE related issues and management reviews.

Qualifications and experience 

• Good knowledge to QHSE standards and project work including methods and tools
• Master or bachelor’s in system engineering
• Good understanding of engineering processes, project management, vessel & marine acumen
• Experience from investigations and/or root cause analysis.
• Experience from companies that are subjected to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 certifications
