Group Procurement and Group IT/Outsourcing Procurement delivers professional procurement services to all business units within SEB. The legal function within procurement ensures that legal requirements, SEB’s policies and other factors affecting are adhered to when closing agreements with external suppliers and works closely with internal stakeholders. Strategic IT projects and outsourcings constitutes the predominant type of projects which require involvement from Procurement Legal. 

About the job
Procurement Legal is part of SEB Procurement supporting sourcing managers in strategic sourcing projects within various areas of IT, outsourcing and other services, products, on a group level. You will be one of three in-house legal counsels at SEB Procurement. As an in-house legal counsel in Procurement Legal you will be drafting, negotiating and reviewing av wide range of large and complex commercial contracts in strategic sourcing projects, including outsourcing and IT, for SEB and the SEB Group and you will also work proactively and develop and manage SEBs standard terms, other agreement related templates and processes. You will also advice and co-operate with stakeholders within the functions Software Asset Management, Vendor Management and Outsourcing Centre of Excellence in legal issues in strategic sourcing projects.

Who are you? 
We are looking for a high performing legal counsel with a solid commercial background. To succeed in this role, you need excellent legal skills and are an experienced negotiator. You have a good understanding of business in a broader context as well as the ability to take initiatives and pro-actively identify issues and propose solutions with a “can do” attitude. To succeed it this role you need to be a team player as well as working independently, based on situation and tasks.

A Swedish degree of Masters of Laws is a prerequisite. We expect that you have gained at least five years of relevant experience in a law firm or an in-house position. Your specific competence should be within negotiations and drafting of large and complex agreements and within IT related legal matters and GDPR. Experience from procurement and the financial industry are meriting. The position requires excellent communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English. You will be based in Arenastaden, Solna.
