 Working in Strategy and key accounts

The Strategy and Key accounts unit in Production and Industrial ownership is responsible for driving and supporting the strategic agenda of Production and Industrial ownership. In addition, a core task is to set the strategic agenda and drive long term performance within operations and maintenance services (hydro, wind, solar) for internal and external customers. The work is done collaboratively both with the management and operating units of Production and Industrial ownership, other parts of the Statkraft organization and external customers.

 We seek an individual with the ability establish and maintain alignment with internal and external customers of operations and maintenance (O&M) services. Facilitating discussions on strategic direction and driving and supporting improvement work with resources across Statkraft, is an important part of the role.

 Key tasks are:

• Establish and maintain strategic alignment with internal Statkraft customers (Business areas European Solar and Wind and International power) and external investors in developed and / or partially owned assets:
• Facilitate discussions on strategic agenda in close collaboration with both customers and service providers
• Clarify deliveries and expectation management
• Facilitate improvement work
• Create transparency and clarity on deliveries through gathering and presenting relevant information
• Increased understanding of joint opportunities and challenges, and how to address these
• Establish and support customers and service provider with arenas for co-operation
• Support finance function on annual planning process together with customers:

 About you:

We look for a person with experience in customer handling, eagerness to learn our businesses in depth, and an outgoing and curious approach to the customers receiving O&M services. We are looking for a candidate who has:

• Master’s degree within science, economics, engineering or similar             
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian
• Strong knowledge of the power industry
• International experience
• Experience from working with O&M on either wind, solar or hydro is an advantage
• Experience working with customer interfaces (internal or external) is an advantage
• Sound judgement, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Business oriented with a commercial mind-set
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to take the outside in-perspective and seek balanced solutions
• Self-driven, comfortable with high work pressure and a positive team player
