(Junior) Commercial Analyst

The vacancy is in the Global Environmental Markets team, which is responsible for sourcing, balancing and selling environmental commodities linked to Statkraft’s own assets as well as the assets of our customers around the globe. The team is located in Amsterdam, London and Beijing.

 

Your role:

• Perform analyses of commercial business cases
• Support the management of different environmental product portfolios
• Manage the registration of commercial contracts
• Automate operational tasks
• Assist with the logistical settlement of our contracts
• Work closely with environmental product specialists and support units

 

Your profile:

• University degree in numerate subject, e.g., economics, science, engineering, or mathematics
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Commercial mind-set
• Demonstrable coding skills (e.g., Python)
• Keen eye for detail whilst not losing track of the big picture
• Fluent in English; strong command of another European language or Chinese is an advantage
• Good team player with a high level of personal integrity
• Experience in a commercial role in the energy industry is a plus
