In this role, you will be a vital member of our team, working across our departments, towards our abroad offices, partners and clients. You’ll engage daily with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Ship Owners, Energy Majors, Shipyards and other key players across the globe. Whether it’s offshore, bulk, tankers, cruise, ferries or other vessel segments, you’ll be at the heart of the most exciting advancements in maritime technology.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with customers by deeply understanding their needs and partnering with them to drive their success.
  • Play a key role in shaping NES’s strategic business plan, expanding our customer base, and enhancing our presence in new and existing market segments.
  • Identify and prioritize sales leads, targeting and pitching to prospects with a tailored approach.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our marketing strategy, ensuring NES remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
  • Collaborate closely with our technical and servicedepartment to refine and expand our product portfolio.
  • Lead pricing, tendering, and contract negotiations to secure profitable business deals.

Formal qualifications and preferred personal qualities

  • You hold a higher technical education (BSc or MSc), background in electro, automation or maritime studies is an advantage.
  • You possess, or are eager to develop a strong entrepreneurial and commercial spirit in NES and the shipping industry.
  • You are excellent in communication, both written and verbal, and have the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • You’re ready and willing to travel to meet with clients and stakeholders.
  • You are highly proficient with digital sales systems, and can work independently and systematically in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
