POSITION SUMMARY:

Kongsberg Discovery is seeking a dedicated and passionate Inbound Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve working closely with Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers in handling after-market products and spare parts orders. Responsibilities include order entry, preparing customer quotes, internal coordination, and customer follow-up.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales and Order Management: Process sales orders, prepare and follow up on quotes, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer Support and Issue Resolution: Handle and resolve complaints, provide technical and product information.

Data Management and Systems Coordination: Maintain customer and order information in ERP and CRM systems.

  • Update and maintain customer and order information within our ERP system and CRM software, ensuring data accuracy and streamlined workflow.
  • Collaborate with other departments and regional offices to ensure consistent service delivery and efficient order processing across different locations.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with logistics, procurement, and technical support to ensure on-time delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical background, preferably with underwater products or systems
  • Bachelor's degree or equal in a relevant field such as Oceanography, Marine Science or related
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Customer Relationship Management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Ability to assess complex situations and find effective solutions for both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive and remain composed in a fast-moving global environment, with a strong capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with KONGSBERG Discovery products, systems, and services is a plus.
  • A strong understanding of the technical aspects of underwater mapping products, hydrography, or marine technologies is an advantage

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a benefit.

 

Pay Range: $70,000 – $80,000 USD annually (DOE)

 

Work Location: Lynnwood, WA

(may have the opportunity of 2 days remote within commuting distance to Lynnwood)
