An exciting opportunity in Kongsberg Maritime as ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) Manager. In this role you will have the overall responsibility for the development of ILS in Automation & Control (A & C) in line with market opportunities. The position reports to Director Vessel Engineering.

As our ILS manager, you should have a broad knowledge basis of the ILS framework, compliance matrixes and the challenges of becoming compliant with existing product and solutions portfolios. The right candidate will shape the future setup of an ILS team and strengthen our opportunities within new and existing markets.

Key accountabilities

• Overall responsible for our compliance on ILS requirements in delivery projects.
• Review of customer ILS requirements providing support to the sales and estimating team during the bid phase.
• Plan and coordinate ILS delivery projects.
• Drive training and competence within our organization on ILS.
• Drive communication with customers and partners on ILS matters.
• Secure our deliverables of ILS in a Life Cycle Management perspective.
• Contribute to system reliability analysis.
• Liaison with customer and 3rd party ILS specialists.

Qualifications and experience

• BSc/MSc degree in Science/Engineering in electronics, survey or similar.
• Knowledge of relevant ILS standards in delivery projects.
• You will be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing requirements and priorities.
• Some travelling must be expected.
