Job Summary: 

• Supporting the operations of DNO in a manner consistent with DNO’s HSE standards
• Assistance in planning and coordinating the Operations HSE activities.
• Providing HSE coaching to local national work force in the organization in a constructive and productive manner.
• Providing HSE support to all the operating sites ensuring a high level of HSE performance by the DNO workforce, working closely with local national contractors to identify best ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading by example through demonstration of HSE Critical Behaviors.
• Reporting all Accidents/ Incidents and Unsafe Acts/ Conditions in a timely manner.
• Active participation in Incident and Investigation processes
• Supporting and active participation in HSE audits, inspections and reviews.
• Supporting and Participation in executing Emergency Drills and Exercises as required.
• Assist in the review and production of Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis and ensure their application in the workplace.
• Assist in the Implementation of risk reduction & mitigation measures as identified.
• Take an active role during Tool Box Talks.
• Supporting HSE aspects in the Permit to Work processes. 
• Actively monitor HSE aspects of all processes and documentation.
• Actively promote the use of corporate HSE compliance monitoring tools.
• Implement behavioral safety improvement initiatives, with the focus to develop an intervention culture.
• Monitoring compliance with DNO ASA Safety Management Systems.
• Carry out HSE Safety Inductions
• Carry out daily duties as assigned, by Line Manager 

Required Qualifications & Experience: 

• Recognized qualification in Health and Safety / Environmental Management, at least at certificate level. (NEBOSH IGC or NVQ in OH&S Level 3 ) 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry HSE role. 
• Computer literate with ability to use Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• English language level of Upper Intermediate. (Good oral and written skills)
