This position can be full time or part time

Enter Tromsø Hotels & Apartments is a small hotel chain consisting of five hotels and apartment facilities - each with its own character and personality. All our hotels are located in the heart of Tromsø city center, within walking distance of most of what the city has to offer.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our premises. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a comfortable and clean environment will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clients and guests.

As a Housekeeper

• Perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces.
• Ensure all rooms are maintained and ready for occupancy, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Address and report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks.
• Organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Professional demeanor and good communication skills.
