The Role… Vacancies have arisen for HGV Drivers on both Days, Nights and Tramping for DFDS Logistics based in N. Ireland.  The successful candidates will work on various contracts using a modern fleet to deliver throughout the province.  A real team player with a strong customer service focus and a can-do attitude is a must.

• Trampers
• Days
• Nights

 

Responsibilities… The HGV Class 1 Driver will work closely within a small team to achieve and maintain a high level of service to all our customers. The candidate must ensure all Health & Safety and industry management standards and regulations are adhered to. As our drivers are the face of our Company, due to the daily contact with our customers, a professional attitude is required at all times.

 

• To deliver chill, produce and ambient products to all our customers’ premises
• To assist with unloading at store
• To accurately record all activities in line with legislation and company requirements
• To work within the remits of the European Drivers Hours regulations
• To work within the remits of the Working Time Directive
• To follow fuel efficient driving standards

 

Essential Criteria…

• Full Class 1 HGV (C+E) licence (maximum of 3 penalty points)
• Full driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Have a flexible approach to the working shift patterns in line with business requirements (role to include working evenings, nights and weekend working)
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience
• Must be aged 21+
