About the job
Investment Operations provides our asset management customers with high quality back office services, e.g. data management, corporate actions and settlement processing, derivatives and alternative investments administration, etc.

As the Head of Investment Operations, you will be responsible for the department’s daily customer delivery, as well as leading its transformation and improvement. We work very closely with Technology in an agile setting, and you are the Operations Lead in the corresponding Agile Release Train.

We are in the middle of a transformation journey where we are implementing SimCorp Dimension as our new core system. You will be championing our continued implementation, as well as being responsible for realising quality and efficiency effects from the transformation.

You will lead a department of some 45 employees, having three seasoned team managers and two process specialists reporting directly to you. Together you cooperate closely with our colleagues across SEB, as well as our virtual and agile development organisation. The department is geographically split between Stockholm and Riga.

In this role you report to the Head of Securities & Wealth Operations and are a member of the Securities & Wealth Operations Management team.

Who are you?
You have a deep understanding of the Financial Industry and several years of experience from the Asset Management area. You have several years of leadership experience from working as a manager of managers. You have processing in your blood and an enthusiastic spirit that sees every challenge as a chance to develop, to surprise and to deliver above expectations. You have the experience of SimCorp Dimension that will leverage your success in this position.

You have the hands-on experience of back office processing to secure the everyday delivery to our funds and institutional clients. You have practical knowledge of SimCorp Dimension paired with a strategic vision, enabling you to lead our transformation and delivering concrete and sustainable results. Collaboration is key, and so are strong communication skills in any and all languages that you master.

If you also have a strong drive and “yes we can”-attitude, combined with good networking skills, you have the prerequisites to succeed in the role as Head of Investment Operations at SEB. Of course, you will need to combine this with persistence and hard work.
