We are now building a finance team for a possible Stock Exchange listing, and are currently looking for a Head of Group Accounting to lead our group accounting team. The central group accounting & reporting team are responsible for group financial reporting, accounting and financial governance.

 

As Head of Group Accounting you will be a key person and have a central position in this team building our future accounting & reporting function. We believe that you are going to be successful in this role if you enjoy working with people with high competence, have passion for financial reporting, communicate effectively and have experience with IFRS consolidated financial statements.

 

What you will do:

• Leadership: Lead and develop the group accounting function in Kongsberg Digital
• Reporting: Overall responsibility for quarterly interim financial statements and annual report;
• Policy and compliance: Develop and manage the global accounting policy for the group to ensure full compliance with IFRS accounting standards, and develop and manage internal control related to financial reporting;
• Advisory: Identify opportunities to improve the groups accounting function, including use of systems and technology, and lead improvement and implementation projects;
• Transaction Services: Support the organization on M&A activities, including due diligence, settlement and integration;
• Communication: Maintain the regular dialog with external auditor and external advisors.

 

As a person you have profound knowledge and experience from group accounting, and hold a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree within accounting/auditing/finance. You take great pride in your area of work, and by combining knowledge, curiosity and business accumen, you are the perfect sparring partner for colleagues and other stakeholders. Others will describe you as a true team player who see the value in sharing knowledge, experience and information with others, and simultaneously get motivated by reaching goals together with your colleagues.

 

If you also have experience from a stock listed company, and good knowledge of relevant frameworks for reporting to the stock exchange, we hope you will apply for this position!

 

Do you already have...

• Experience with consolidation tools (HFM, Cognos etc.)
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS), and other regulations
• Strong financial understanding,
• Strong analytical skills,
• Strong communication and presentation skills (Norwegian and English)
• Strong ability to lead and develop staff
