About the job
Securities and Wealth Operations provides Financial Institutions, Corporates as well as Private Clients with securities-based services like Global and Sub Custody, Fund Execution, Issuer Services and Asset Management Administration. The majority of our staff is located in Stockholm or Riga, and we also service our clients locally from our Nordic sites, as well as Luxembourg.

You will be a key player in setting and driving our strategic agenda with the aim to take Securities & Wealth Operations into an automated and client service focused future. This includes creative IT initiatives, relentless process improvements, challenging sourcing agendas and many other exciting change initiatives. You recommend and coordinate strategic investments, follow up ventures financially and you are updated on new products, solutions and regulatory developments, as well as championing new efficiency tools and methods.

You will lead a team of experienced senior specialists, including Senior Business Analysts, Automation Developers and a Process Modeler. Together you cooperate closely within Securities & Wealth Operations, with our colleagues across the Bank, as well as our virtual and agile development organisation.

In this Senior role you report directly to the Head of Securities & Wealth Operations and are a member of the Securities & Wealth Operations Management team.

Who are you?
You have a deep understanding of the Financial Industry and several years of experience from the Securities area. You have innovation in your blood and an enthusiastic spirit that sees challenges as a mean to develop, to surprise and to deliver above expectations. You have the IT-knowledge and understanding of automation that will leverage your success in this position.

A strategic mindset, trained in seeing the bigger picture, will be very useful, as well as having an ability to prioritise and achieve concrete and sustainable results in an ever-changing organisational landscape. Collaboration is key, and so are elaborate communication skills in any and all languages that you master.

If you have a strong drive and “yes we can”-attitude combined with good networking skills, you have the prerequisites to succeed in the role as Head of Development. Of course, you will need to combine this with persistence and hard work.
