The Integrated Solutions - Product Hardware group in Kongsberg Maritime seeks a Hardware Engineer to be part of a team to develop and maintain hardware for process control and safety systems. We are looking for a highly motivated person with experience within marine industry, and preferably with knowledge about process control and safety systems. The Hardware Engineer shall work in close cooperation with colleagues in the department and Kongsberg Maritime Product and Services departments.

 

Key accountabilities

• Hardware Product engineering for process control and safety products
• Keep up to date on rules and regulations in product area
• Support delivery projects, customer support, sales and procurement
• Technical contact and communication with vendors
• Manage products in Teamcenter (PLM)
• Life Cycle Management

 

Qualifications and experience

• Master or Bachelor’s degree or a graduate from technical college in computer science, electronics, automation or similar
• Experience with process control and/or safety systems
• Good in English, both oral and written.
