About us
Handelsbanken Debt Capital Markets (DCM) is an integral part of Handelsbanken’s investment bank. The department comprises around 50 experts providing specialized financing solutions, primarily to corporate and real estate customers. Our product offering ranges from bilateral and syndicated loans to arrangement of corporate bonds and commercial paper programs to our Swedish and international clients. Our capabilities in debt structuring, sustainable finance, and other advisory services are crucial in providing complete and tailored financing solutions to our customers.

We are looking for an off-cycle spring intern to join our Debt Advisory team at the Stockholm Office. Applicants are to be available from January 2022 and the internship intends to cover a full semester.

You will support the Debt Advisory team with company and market analysis, financial modelling, and presentation material.

Preferred skills
We are looking for a true team player to contribute to our high ambitions within Debt Advisory. The successful applicant should have a strong interest in the financial markets. You should possess a high analytical capacity and excellent communication skills in English and Swedish. You should have a strong academic track record and be proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint. You should have 1-2 semesters remaining until graduation of a three-year program, or 1-4 semesters remaining of a five-year program. Previous experience from investment banking, other relevant organizations, or extra-curricular activities is an advantage.
