The Internal Control unit (FRC) is a department within the Financial reporting, accounting and digital finance department in the CFO organization. The unit is responsible for managing the Groups system for Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and for managing the Group's ICFR Network and the fraud prevention system. The position will report to VP FRC - Internal Control.

Your role:

• Maintenance and development of the Group’s ICFR policies
• Facilitate the Group’s key financial reporting risk assessment process
• Facilitate the yearly process for updating the Group’s control design
• Facilitate the yearly self-assessment process
• Perform review and testing of selected controls
• Communicate and provide training to ensure that key stakeholders have sufficient awareness and competence to execute assigned control activities
• Support implementation of the ICFR requirements in new entities in the group
• Secretary for the Group’s ICFR Network

Your profile:

• Master degree in finance, accounting and/or auditing
• Experience from larger audit firm, internal control function or internal audit in an international company
• Good knowledge of the COSO framework, the Norwegian code of practice for corporate governance
• Good understanding of complex reporting processes, inherent risks in the processes and the design of effective and efficient controls
• Experience with data analytics and/or process mining tools
• Experience with BWise or other governance, risk and compliance software
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
