Who are we?

Designers Company is the parent company for the interior design brands MENU and byLassen as well as the hybrid space AUDO in Nordhavn, Copenhagen.

MENU has since 2012 undergone a complete transformation from trading with household accessories to development and trading with designer Furniture, Accessories and Lighting products as well as re-launching of classical pieces. In 2018 MENU was acquired by the Polaris Private Equity, in 2019 the AUDO was established, and mid 2021 the Danish Design company byLassen was acquired.

Besides several legal entities in Denmark DC group has distribution entities in USA and China and reporting for all is consolidated under Designers Company Group by the Group finance department which is also responsible for governance of the group.

Responsibility and work tasks

With reference to the Group CFO, your job will be finance- and business-controlling of group entities as well as ad-hoc assistance to local finance departments, the Group Finance Manager and the Group CFO including:

• Securing timely and correct reporting from selected subsidiary entities in line with group standards
• Financial and business controlling of subsidiaries
• Annual reports and audit for subsidiaries
• Assisting in improving and streamlining group finance and reporting
• Sparing with local finance departments
• Participating in preparation of budget and forecasts

What we look for

We are looking for a responsible person with a friendly can-do attitude. You probably have an audit or accounting background, supplemented with HD, Cand Merc or similar, and are looking for a job on the other side of the table. The most important thing is that you are familiar with accounting and financial analyzes and are prepared to learn and teach.

It is expected that you are an Excel Expert and have flair for IT and numbers in general.
