If so, we are offering Graduates the opportunity to complete a two year programme   in our logistics and shipping divisions. These placements will be across numerous Locations in the UK & Ireland. With a current Group turnover of £2bn, DFDS are one of the largest Shipping & Logistics leaders in Europe.

The Graduate Role… Over a two-year rotational programme starting February/ March 2021, you will gain knowledge and experience to build your understanding of our business, our customers, and the wider industry. During your programme you will take part in four placements, these could be at any of our twenty+ sites throughout the UK and Ireland so a willingness to travel and relocate is essential.

You will have exposure across multiple operational functions gaining experience within the following areas: 

• Operations – Logistics, Warehousing and Shipping
• Sales / Account Management
• Transport Planning / Co-ordination
• Customer Service
• Data Analysis
• Project Management

 

A mentor will be assigned to support integration into the organisation and the development of each graduate including the completion of a key business improvement project.

What you will need to be successful

You will be a motivated individual who can work in an ever-changing environment. You will be curious, adaptable, collaborative, analytical, commercially aware, and most of all you will be someone who can contribute and share best practice. You will have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 honours degree, preferably but not essentially with relevance to Shipping or Logistics and have a full UK Driving Licence.
