Your mission

As a Software Engineer in DNB IT Payments you will work in distributed multivendor team of 12 to 15 people across Norway and India. You will be a part of a fixed team responsible for specific Payments product and API development. You’ll participate in everything from design, implementation, quality assurance, experimentation, testing, deployment, monitoring and documentation of the services we build and maintain. We focus on creating the best developer experience towards our services and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing internally as well as externally.

You should be passionate about technology and have a strong interest in learning about and playing with new technologies. But almost equally important is your ability to be a good team player and that you understand the need to cooperate with others in order to reach great results.

Background and technical skills

• You are a skilled frontend engineer or full stack engineer with strong knowledge towards frontend technologies.
• Very good understanding of XML ISO20O22 Payments formats
• Hands on experience in IBM FTM, IBM APP Connect Enterprise (IBM Integration Bus or WebSphere Message Broker) and rational tools
• Good understanding of automated testing, continuous integration and deployment practices
• You have completed higher education within computer science, cloud computing or other related technical field, but we also acknowledge that extensive relevant experience may make up for this.
• You are fluent in English (both oral and written). Norwegian skills are a plus.

It is also a big plus if you have experience with one or more of the following:

• Working in cross-functional teams with agile methodology
• Experience in IBM Operational Decision Manager
• Experience in web technologies like Java/J2ee, Spring 3, Spring boot, Hibernate and JPA.
• Experience in SOAP, REST, JAXB, XML and JSON for developing Web Services.
• Privacy and security by design
• Experience in AWS or Azure
