F135 Quality Engineer

In connection, we are looking for a Quality Engineer to assist with the stand-up of the Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul & Upgrade (“MRO&U”) with Test Cell facility in Rygge for the Pratt & Whitney F135 Engine which powers the F35 Lightning II for the global customers.

 

To be a successful candidate you should be reliable, structured, proactive andcollaborative. You think creative and have good communication and interpersonal skills. As a successful candidate of F135 Quality Engineer position you would be expected to assist in the ongoing Qality reporting and improvement in the MRO&U environment and collaborate with other technical staff and management to ensure that quality compliance and targets are always met.

 

Experience Required

• Higher technical education (Bachelor / Master) or Technical High School (Fagbrev or Trade Certificate) – Relevant experience may also constitute the required standards for this role.
• Good analytical skills.
• Able to work independently, and with the ability to familiarize themselves with the operation and structure of complex technical systems, understand the system and details in an operational context

Desired Experience

• Working experience on the applicable flight hardware or specific method.
• Knowledge of the Aviation/ Defence Aviation environment (Desired)
• Working knowledge of EASA, EMAR and AS9001, AS9100 and AS9110 (Desired)
• Planning and Reporting experience (ie. Primavira, MS project, MS Office Package, Computer Aided Maintenance Management systems) (Desired)

Main tasks:

• Ensure professional cooperation with the customers Perform tasks as instructed by QC and Site management.
• Assist in internal and external inspections and audits
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of regulations, requirements and standards governing KAMS quality system, certifications and approvals
• Be a driving force in the development and implementations of quality system procedures and improvements.
• Ensure that performed work is sufficiently documented
• Handle, process and analyse quality related non-conformities and issues at the site – prepare and recommend improvement activities.
