You will be working any 5 days out of 7, including 1 full weekend per month.

We are seeking an individual who has experience, in either a freight forwarding or customer service role within logistics. You need to be driven by process improvements, able to work in a dynamic and fluid environment, meeting deadlines. Main responsibilities of the role:

• Responsible for ensuring all customers receive an excellent level of service.
• Plan customer orders to trucks via local digital portals.
• Plan groupage loads effectively to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Ensure that trucks are despatched as quickly as possible to reach market as quickly as possible.
• Relationship building with customers and colleagues.
• General problem solving and solution finding for customers.
• Ensure daily invoicing and administrative tasks are completed.
• Understanding of customs procedures for exporting trailers from the UK
• Follow up customer queries for their shipments.
• Collaboration with operational and transport teams
• Use digitalisation tools to automate manual processes.
• Understanding customers’ requirements and offer further solutions / alternative when required.
• Ability to work under pressure within a dynamic and vibrant logistics office.
• Work well within a team and support colleagues where necessary.
