A new and exciting opportunity has arisen as Executive Vice President, Supply Chain in Kongsberg Sensors and Robotics. You will lead our Supply Chain function, reporting directly to the President of Sensors and Robotics. You will drive and further strengthen our Supply Chain, building Supply Chain excellence across our value chains, and further developing the Supply Chain and Manufacturing strategy of our global operations. You are given the opportunity to develop the role, build valuable networks and ensure a global collaboration approach across Kongsberg Sensors and Robotics.

In this role, you show strong leadership and communication skills with a commercial mindset and deep understanding of Supply Chain requirements. As our EVP of Supply Chain, you show cultural agility and have international experience managing a diverse team. The role requires a global approach to managing teams - interfacing and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and colleagues.

Key accountabilities

• Optimize Kongsberg Sensors and Robotics’ supply chain activities, driving coordination, execution, cost optimization and optimization of supply chain footprint across, and in cooperation with, Divisions
• Set and execute Kongsberg Sensors and Robotics’ overall Supply Chain & Manufacturing strategy, and work proactively to realize supply chain synergies across Divisions
• Drive ‘functional excellence’ across core Supply Chain activities, such as procurement, manufacturing operations, manufacturing technology development, supplier development, sales & operations planning and the operation/development of supporting tools.
• Evaluate and execute on streamlining global, regional, and local Supply Chain towards efficient execution of Kongsberg Sensors and Robotics’ strategy, with minimum overhead
• Coach and further develop the Supply Chain management team

Qualifications and experience

• Strong leader with significant credibility and ability to maneuver within an organization. Extensive experience with operating Supply Chain activities in maritime/technology industries preferred
• Toughness and team skills to be able to execute on Supply Chain mandate and development of the organization, including prior experience from driving change and improvement in large organizations
• Unifying leader with proven ability to optimize international operations and build a common culture, bridging operations between HQ functions/divisions and regional organization
• Proven leadership experience, preferably with experience from managing large-scale international operations
• Commercial & technical understanding of Supply Chain requirements, with the ability to translate into operations & functional Excellence that optimizes value for Divisions and Kongsberg Sensors and Robotics as a whole
