Job Summary:

Commissioning and troubleshoot of VSD equipment for both ESP and PCP installations. Evaluate systems and recommend appropriate solutions. Collect and interpret operating parameters on all wells equipped with ESPs and PCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Coordinate field activities and ESP/PCP interventions activities between Well Services, Completion/Drilling and Production.
• Supervise and coordinate with Rigs during the ESP and PCP installations and pull outs.
• Collect and interpret operating parameters on all wells equipped with ESPs and PCPs.
• Perform ESP well interventions, maintain and repair surface controllers and ESP power cable. Test and confirm the integrity of all equipment before being installed in a well.
• Inspect the equipment pulled out from the wells to determine the well and equipment conditions.
• Track and contribute on maintaining consumable materials inventories related to the ESP and PCP operations.
• Ensure the data accuracy and integrity.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for start-up and optimizations must be strictly followed.
• In-charge of Commissioning Start-up.
• Any abnormalities observed should be flagged immediately to the attention of Sr. ESP Personnel in-charge.
• Prepare all the required reports.

Health, Safety and Environment:

• Ensure and promote the development of the QHSE instructions and procedures related to ESP and PCP Field operations.
• Ensure all ESP and PCP Field operations are conducted in compliance of Company’s Rules and Standards.
• Review and implement new standards to enhance the ESP and PCP Field Operations Safety & Environment protection Rules & Standards.

ESP/PCP Technology:

• Work with suppliers in the ESP industry to stay abreast of changing technology that would benefit ESP Field operations.
• Conduct safely and efficiently ESP/PCP Field operations.

Programs

• Orientation on ESP/PCP basics which includes but not limited to its components, functions, importance and responsible operations.
• Routine monitoring together with ESP Technicians to familiarize the technical side of operations.
• Start-up and optimization activities.
• Commissioning start-up.
• Troubleshooting.
• Performance Evaluation will be the final stage.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate level particularly Petroleum engineering or Electrical Engineer
• 4-5 Years of experience in similar roles
