As our Enterprise Analytics Manager, you will have the global responsibility for our corporate analytics function and help reach our goal of being a data driven company. The primary role will be to manage and contribute to achievement of targets in business through analytics strategies and capabilities. Your role is to translate business needs from raw data to valuable solutions that bring business insights, drive decision making and increase efficiency for employees and leaders.

You will work closely with all our divisions, process owners, product owners and solution architects, and have a key role in the achievement of strategic targets. Digitalization is an essential part of our strategy for further growth and development, and you will make a real impact on our digital transformation.

Most important areas of responsibility:

• Translate business needs to IT solutions and own the overall technical vision
• Design and develop a global strategy for data analysis and reporting
• Oversee all analytics operations to guide the organisation in correct utilization
• Standardize procedures, guidelines, and best practices
• Lead service providers and partners with data engineers and analysts
• Manage the analytics roadmap and a portfolio of analytics solutions

 

Qualifications required for the position:

• Bachelor or master's degree in business economics, information systems or equivalent work experience
• Experience with data & analytics architecture, standards, frameworks and practices
• Knowledge of common data and analytic technologies (SQL, Synapse, spark, R) and front-end tools (preferably Power BI)
• Interest in staying hands-on technical as well as setting the strategic direction
• Relevant experience from IT Development processes and implementation projects
• Excellent organizational abilities and good communication skills in Norwegian and English

The position reports to Head of Business Applications in Elkem IT and is located in Oslo, Kristiansand or Lyon.
