Our Handling Control & Digital department is on the lookout for an inspirational leader to steer a dynamic team in delivering state-of-the-art control systems for winch handling equipment. Our Control & Digital department is rapidly growing, and we need you that wants to deliver challenging engineering to order projects on time.

In this role you will:

• Manage the controls teams delivering engineering to order to ensure project requirements are met
• Manage the personal and professional development of engineers and managers reporting to you in your organisation
• Plan for department resourcing in accordance with workload and sales forecasts
• Collaborate with senior managers in the organisation to deliver the best technical and business solutions, with a focus on KONGSBERG’s commitment to lifecycle management and customer support
• Commit to excellence by ensuring projects are delivered on time and right first time

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor level, electrical engineering/electro automation or similar
• Extensive experience within control systems, preferably including personnel management
• Experience of offshore handling products is advantageous
