You will for instance work with data storage, databases and the infrastructure of SEB. The IBMi team is responsible for overall operations of IBM Power systems, participate in projects, and continuously develop the platform to ensure our customers stay competitive and succeed in the market.

About the job
You will join the IBMi team working with maintenance, support and development of the platform. The team continuously work with sustaining the modern platform using new technology to make sure our customers succeed.

We are looking for a new team member that is self-driven, curious and wants to increase their technical skills. We think that you, not only embrace changes, but also actively drive change and improvement.

You will support us in identifying changes, updates and improvements in our daily work including technical modernization, ensuring efficient processes and operational excellence.

In this role, you will get excellent understanding of high availability and disaster recovery. Furthermore, you will work with our IBMi security, Network and the backup software BRMS.

The position is located in Solna, Arenastaden.

Who are you?
We think that you are either an engineer who are looking for the next step in your career and contribute to SEBs IBMi platform, or maybe you just graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/science, electrical engineering or similar. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of the IBMi platform. But most important is that you are a driven, curious person with the right technical mindset. You are a doer with a result-oriented mindset taking strong accountability as your area of responsibility.

You are a great communicator and appreciates good collaboration between colleagues. You will work cross-culture with multiple team so your social skills will be of great use. You are fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish.
