Position:

EIT Design Engineer (2 years contract)

Overview of Position:

The EPC Department is responsible for deliveries of EIT system solutions (E-House, Electrical, Instrument & Control and Telecom) to the O&G and Offshore market, serving the yards and ship owners, in the SEA region.

Under direction of Department & working with Project Team of Kongsberg Maritime Pte Ltd, Telecom Designer is responsible to ensure that the design is in compliance to the clients and international standards and codes based on the selected class for the project.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Single Line Diagrams Block diagrams, Layout and termination diagram.
• Preparation of MTO for bulk items, junction box, MCT, supply & installation items
• Involved in developing layout for cable trays/ladder
• Prepare cable schedule
• Prepare detail installation drawing for Telecom supplied items
• Ability to develop document and drawing templates as per project requirements.
• Familiar with international standards and codes applicable to design work in Marine Offshore and Oil & Gas Industry Projects.
• Responsible for adherence to the QHMS requirements with respect to design and delivery of correct documentation (e.g. deliverables within budget, quality & planned timeframe).
• Carry out redline mark-ups on the final drawings and generation of As-Built documentation.
• Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in Marine Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry Projects
• Experience in project designing with AutoCAD.
• EPC project experience will be added advantage
• Experience in AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel) is a must
• Experience in EIT design engineering
• Must have excellent co-operative skills, good communication skills and result-oriented
• Must be self-motivated and able to motivate team members
• Pay package will be commensurate with skills and experience.
