About the Role

Höegh Evi is looking for a Digital Communications & Marketing Intern to support our Communications and Marketing efforts. The role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong English communication skills, and creative storytelling abilities using visual media and text. The intern will be responsible for developing engaging content across Höegh Evi platforms, including social media, website, and other communication channels.

The right candidate will be a quick learner, able to grasp complex content and communicate it in a compelling manner. Understanding of the fundamentals of B2B communications and marketing, and in particular relating to energy topics is a strong plus.

The role is based in Oslo, Norway and reports to the Head of Communications and Marketing.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Communications and Marketing with the development of a content plan and execute the design and production of content for distribution.
• Create and publish compelling content for social media, website, and other digital channels.
• Develop and execute creative marketing and content plans to enhance brand visibility.
• Assist in writing and editing articles, blog posts, and similar according to brand messages. 
• Design and edit digital content, including photos, videos, and graphics.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations.
• Ensure content aligns with Höegh Evi’s brand identity and strategic messaging.
• Support internal and external communications initiatives as needed. 

Qualifications & experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, marketing, media, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills in English (fluency required).
• Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• A creative mindset with a structured approach to tasks and problem-solving.
• Attentive to detail and committed to producing high-quality content. 
• Understanding of geopolitical dynamics and energy industry themes are a plus. 
• Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) is a plus.
