Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist

At DFDS, we believe that digital technologies and their adoption are key driving forces in changing the ways that businesses work. This is at the forefront of our CXM & MarTech department.
Located within Technology & Innovation we have a broad scope of responsibilities that are designed to operate both centrally and cross-functionally, with close cooperation with senior management, core business areas and product teams.

As an Analytics Implementation Specialist, you will work in the CXM & MarTech team within the Strategy+ Tribe in Technology & Innovation.
You will focus on implementing digital analytics and measurement approaches in the correct way, ensuring a clean technical set-up and data integrity, and supporting business stakeholders and project teams with their tracking requirements.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining digital analytics implementations across our web presence,
  • Managing the toolset for clickstream data, surveying, multivariate testing, etc.
  • Handling web analytics support requests from business stakeholders
  • Where relevant, managing and guiding external implementation partners
  • Implementation changes to tagging and scripting
  • Helping and supporting the business translate goals into trackable metrics

 Beyond close collaboration with your colleagues in CXM & MarTech, you will work closely with experience product teams, stakeholders from the business and external partners. You will be based at our HQ in Copenhagen (Nordhavn) and report to the Team Lead of CXM & MarTech.

 

Who are you?

The desired profile will have at least two to three years of experience working hands-on with complex web analytics implementations. You should have a good knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Optimize (preferably 360), google BigQuery and Google Cloud.
Ideally, you have experience working cross-functionally. This might be in the form of supporting digital marketing teams, defining data layer parameters to booking funnels and managing integrations with booking engines and other third-party tools.  
You’re someone who is up for a challenge and thrives in the face of complex problems. We expect that you are a person who is ready to lead the discussion. You are confident in presenting your own ideas to a group of stakeholders

Further, experience with JavaScript, SQL or Python is highly relevant in this field, so if you have knowledge of this technology it will also be an advantage.. We expect you to have a relevant bachelors or master’s degree and have solid communications skills in English.

The role may require occasional travel.
