SEB is looking for an Analyst to work with our UK team within, Debt Investment Banking – Structured Credit and Loan Syndicate based in London.

Our team focuses on the primary syndication and distribution of Loans, High Yield Bonds, Convertible Bonds and secondary Loan Sales for LC&FI (Client Coverage, Shipping and Special Credits). Loan Syndications covers the full credit spectrum, including Corporate, Leverage and Infrastructure/PF loans in all core geographies. The team is part of the Debt Capital Markets unit.

What you can expect
As an Analyst in the Structured Credit and Loan Syndicate team you will be part of a team that is an integral link between origination and markets.

You will be a key member of the team who will support in inter alia; monitoring of loan and high yield bond markets, maintenance of transaction comparable databases, data analysis, creation of presentations, assisting in the drafting of underwriting memos, creating market updates, as well as being part of the execution of High Yield Bonds, and all syndicated Loan transactions, both primary and secondary.

You will be an integral part of the collaboration effort with the rest of the bank, specifically with Origination, Credit Sales, Research and Trading, and multiple other teams across LC&FI.

What we expect
We are looking for candidates at the early stages of their banking career, Investment Banking work experience and a university degree, who have a strong analytical mindset, strong communications skills, ability to prioritize and a strong presentation making skills with a focus on accuracy.  Fluency in English is required.

You should be genuinely interested in financial markets, and able to handle several projects simultaneously with periodically intense workloads which require a strong degree of adaptability. You are a strong team player who values contributing to the group but also enjoy taking initiative and responsibility for own work streams and able to develop trusted relationships.
