We are setting up a new Customs office in Liverpool and we are looking for a Customs Clearance Supervisor to join our team to provide a seamless service. Working Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, with a degree of flexibility when required, you will be joining a dedicated team, to deliver an efficient customs clearance service, ensuring very high standards are maintained for our customers. We need you to be comfortable in taking responsibility for various tasks and ensuring they are seen to completion, as this is a required trait for this position. We seek someone who has experience within the Customs Clearance industry along with Online Health Certificate submissions, to fulfil this role. Previous supervisory experience is preferable.

You will be required to prioritise and delegate tasks throughout the day and have the capability to provide support for the team with any invoice & general queries. The capacity to demonstrate clear understanding of all relevant customs related laws and regulations, maintain your understanding and keep up to date with changes as they occur. Oversee and complete internal audits and administrational checks on entries made. Assist in the training and development for all new starters within the Customs Clearance team and continue to be supportive, to ensure that they can confidently process daily customs clearances.

We are looking for someone who has an extravert personality and is a strong team leader, able to supervise a newly established Customs team. You’ll need to remain professional when communicating with internal & external stakeholders, but at the same time able to have a good bond with your team in a friendly, positive environment.
