If so, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Customer Services Agent based in our DFDS Control Tower, joining our team in Coventry. We work on behalf of a major frozen food retailer with close links to other DFDS sites and contracts based through the UK. Working 5 days from 7 each week, 09:00 – 17:00, you must maintain a constant state of readiness in your work approach. A very good level of IT skills will be a prerequisite for this role, as several systems are used. A customer order could come on at any time and there is a very small window to listen to their needs, work a solution and put your solution into motion. Solid administration skills with a high attention to detail are key to ensure the customer reporting is to the desired levels. Collating, monitoring information, producing daily, weekly, monthly reports and working on our continuous improvement plans. Excellent communication skills, both by phone and email will be readily required, interacting with driver’s, suppliers, customers, and colleagues alike, ensuring professionalism and customer service are at the fore. This will culminate in you developing strong relationships with other sites and the operational teams. Good geographical knowledge of the UK would be advantageous, but the team are really supportive and will ensure that you are comfortable in your new role. Why not come and join us!!
