Corporate Finance Manager

Group Treasury is responsible for cash management, trade finance, group funding and foreign exchange risk management. The Corporate Finance manager is responsible for the external and internal financing of the group and will work closely with the other areas of expertise within the Group Treasury function. The position reports to the Group VP Finance and Treasurer in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA.

 

As a Corporate Finance Manager your main responsibilities are: 

  • Perform Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet modelling, including estimation of the group’s financial capacity.
  • Recommend optimal capital structure for the group and related to specific acquisitions.
  • Act as project manager for obtaining debt and equity financing.
  • Determine optimal capital structure for subsidiaries together with e.g., group tax, and lead periodic repatriation of funds from the group’s subsidiaries.
  • Maintain the group’s financial policy and approach to financial risk mitigation.
  • Support the other fields of expertise within Group Treasury on projects as both a project manager and/or individual contributor.
  • Establish reports and forecasts, perform ad-hoc analysis and establish decision support for the Treasury and the CFO area.

 

Qualifications and experience: 

  • Bachelor or master’s degree within finance, economy, or other related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to take a holistic approach, and at the same time be able to take a detailed approach when required.
  • Independent, and self-driven, with a strong commercial mindset and an analytical approach.
  • Team player with strong communication skills, being able to build networks internally and externally.
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power Point and PowerBI.

You will become part of a medium size treasure team, and you will work across many of the fields of expertise that form a Treasury team, and thus gain a broad set of knowledge within the various fields. You will also work closely with other functions within the group, such as business development, group tax and group accounting and reporting, as well as executive management.
