Client Service Manager at Investor Services in Luxembourg

Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (“SEB”) is a Northern European Banking Group with more than 160 years of history. SEB has its headquarters in Sweden with activities in some 20 countries and employs approximately 15.000 employees. SEB was established in Luxembourg in 1973 and today employs about 200 employees from 25 different countries.

SEB Investor Services Luxembourg, is part of the Investor Services business line within the Large Corporates & Financial Institutions organization. It is the business unit responsible for the institutional global custody product as well as the depositary function for investment funds. Our client segment consists mainly of investment funds and large corporates. We are looking to hire a Client Service Manager on a permanent contract basis in order to strengthen the team.

About the Position
Since we service SEB Groups clients in over 85 markets we interact with international contacts on a daily basis. As a Client Service Manager (“CSM”) you will act as the main responsible contact to our clients in connection to the Global Custody and Depositary products and services provided. This includes processes of the entire life-cycle of Luxemburg domiciled UCITS and Alternative investment funds including the contractual and operational on-boarding, account openings to day-to-day query handling, reporting, including client meetings, preparation of Board packs and attendance to Board meetings.

You will also be responsible for the management and administration of SEBs global network of sub-custodians and cash correspondents working in close cooperation with SEBs Global Network Management team, to follow-up on market developments that impact our clients as well as participating in the monitoring and review of the services delivered.

We are a small team working in a continuously changing environment and under close cooperation with our in-house and third party ManCos including their delegates, Nordic based portfolio managers and Group Operations.

Who are you?
As a Client Service Manager you need to have a proven experience for more than 3 years working with custody related activities, such as custody/depositary client service, securities settlement or corporate action. You also have a solid knowledge of the securities market and financial products, a sound understanding of Luxembourg funds structures such as SICAV/FCP/RAIF etc., and the role of a Luxembourg Depositary Bank. A good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the main parties involved in the Fund Industry and a sound understanding of KYC/AML requirements and client identification are part of your competences.

You possess a university degree in business administration, accounting, law or mathematics and have excellent oral and written language skills in English. Knowledge of a Nordic language is a strong advantage.

You are proactive, structured, and solution oriented without compromising on risks aspects. You enjoy challenges and have a strong judgment on priorities in a frequently hectic environment and thus working under pressure feels comfortable to you.
