We are looking for  Class 1 Tramper Drivers based in the South Shields area, working Monday to Friday days. The role involves picking up ferry trailers from Immingham docks, tipping at customer site, reload and back to the docks. The DFDS vehicle that will be assigned to you will be based at South Shields. If you have your full HGV Licence, experience with Riverside and Dockside (although not essential) and excellent customer service skills our team are wanting to hear from you! 

All you need is to join the team is: 

• Full HGV Class 1 Licence
• DIGI Card.
• CPC driver qualification.
• Ideally minimum of 1 year’s working knowledge of similar environment - not essential.
• Working knowledge of the transport industry.
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proactive, conscientious approach.
• Be physically fit.
