To support our commercial and growth strategy, we are now looking for a Business Manager that will join our Digital Wells team. The Digital Wells department creates and delivers digital solutions, via real-time data aggregation, visualization and advisory, in order to help improve drilling activities throughout the well lifecycle

As our new Business Manager (FP&A) will have an overall advisory role to Digital Wells (DW) management team, which includes Growth, Commercial, Product and Operations management, with the primarily task to monitor and advise on improvement processes related to revenue management and financial performance, as well as optimization of business operations. You will also play a key role in creating the right environment for continuous development and achievement of DW business objectives.

Other key tasks and responsibilities:

• Identify irregularities in business operations and recommend actions to enhance productivity
• Carry out harmonization processes to ensure all sites are performing equally
• Feedback and support commercial and growth teams on commercial performance related to tender management
• Feedback and support product teams on business cases related to product development
• QA/QC role in budget management, in coordination with commercial, operations and business controlling function
• Main interface with KDI Finance Team for budget monitoring, performance reporting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with company rules and values throughout all processes

 

In order to succeed in this role, you are a person who…

• Holds a bachelor’s or master´s degree in a relevant subject
• Have 7 to 10 years of experience in business administration, financial performance management or business operations from SaaS companies, consulting and/or banking
• Are comfortable working with senior management and building the necessary relationship throughout the organization
• Good understanding on SaaS commercial mechanisms
• Knowledge of KDI business models and operational markets
• Self-starter, well-structured and with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Available to travel globally, to support the different organizations worldwide, with great cultural understanding skills

The position reports to Senior Vice President, SVP Digital Wells and is based in Kongsberg Digital’s Headquarters in Oslo.
