Are you a business intelligence developer with a few years of experience in QlikView? SEB Pension & Försäkring is now looking for a developer within our Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse team.

SEB Pension & Försäkring is one of the leading life insurance companies in the Nordics with 1.8 million customers, whereof 1.3 million in Sweden.  In order to keep up with the rapid changes within IT and to keep increasing the quality of our deliveries we are now looking for someone to join us in in this area.

About the job
As a BI developer you will join an ambitious BI/Data warehouse team that is determined to build SEB Pension & Försäkring’s next generation information platform. As a team, we take pride in delivering high quality solutions in a timely manner.  Even though IT is our core competence, it is important for us to have knowledge about the business we support as well. In our team, we cover different roles such as business analyst, ETL developers and QA analysts, distributed across two geographical locations. We all come from different backgrounds and cultures but together we are a close-knit team with a joint mission – to create a second to none information platform for SEB Pension & Försäkring.

In the role as BI Developer, you will be involved in maintaining old and develop new solutions based on the QlikView platform. You will also be involved in our journey to move into other reporting tools such as Tableau. In this role you will be working very close to business in order to catch ad hoc changes and discuss requirements for new reporting needs. You may be expected to present ideas and solutions for a bigger group of people and to facilitate requirement workshops with business users.

Who are you?
We´re looking for a driven, curious person that wants to learn and adapt to new things. Since we are working in an agile set up, you should have experience working according to agile principles. In a team setup, it is important to find a balance between taking own initiative/doing things independently and working closely with other team members. Since part of our delivery team is located in Kuala Lumpur, it is important you are able to communicate well in English (verbal as well as written) and to be open to work in new and different arrangements. It is also preferable that you are able to communicate in swedish.  It will be an advantage if you have previous experience working in a distributed team across geographical locations. 

In order to fit into this role, you should have:

• Extensive experience of working with Qlikview over the complete BI-chain; from data modeling and ETL-development, to creating reports directly towards users.
• Experience in other BI-tools, especially Tableau, is a huge plus.
• Domain knowledge from insurance industry or investment banking is an advantage.
