Competitive Salary | London| 1 x full time permanent role 1 x temporary (Circa 2 years) role

Statkraft is looking for a candidate to join a professional team responsible for managing and operating commercial contracts related to our market access portfolio in the UK. In a dynamic business environment, the Contract Operations team is developing the bridge between the origination/business development teams and Finance by taking responsibility for the quality of data, transactional validation, billing and accrual production for energy and related services.

Reporting to the UK Head of Contract Operations, this role requires someone who can understand, implement and develop the contractual complexities of PPAs, be energy market aware, be technically adaptable and have knowledge of financial systems and processes.

The role carries a great deal of autonomy and accountability and is suited to someone who is inquisitive, progressive and methodical, has initiative and is prepared to build customer and stakeholder relationships.

Working in Contracts Operations UK

From helping to run advanced renewable power plants, developing the technologies that power EV charging infrastructures, to supporting our business solutions and corporate functions. With Statkraft, you'll be working and collaborating alongside other technology and digital experts to innovate, maintain and provide the world with renewable energy.

As a Contracts Operations Analyst in the Contract Operations department, you'll:

● Engage in challenging projects in close cooperation with our key internal customers in the UK, Amsterdam and Dusseldorf (Commercial, Technical and Finance teams)
● Assure high quality billing – create, verify and manage settlement of commercial and industry stakeholders
● Track cash allocations and debt positions
● Perform month-end closing tasks
● Assess new and changed commercial products through contract analysis and manage the implementation of new products into the extant operational environment
● Develop our system landscape and increase the degree of automation
● Operate, maintain and further develop the P&L reporting and internal controls

About you:

We look for candidates with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions.

Required Knowledge and experience:

● University degree in a related field
● Strong analytical skills and a commercial mind-set
● Fluency in English

Experiences in these areas are also useful in your role:

● Experience of working for a utility, renewable energy company or other similar environment
● An understanding of the UK electricity industry
● Be technically proficient in MS Excel and have some knowledge of coding in SQL and or Python; experience of systems such as SAP and SalesForce would be an advantage
