As our new back-end software developer, you will become an important part of our Maritime Simulations team that provides market leading simulator solutions that are used for mandatory STCW training and advanced integrated crew training for maritime, naval and offshore industries worldwide. You will be responsible for implementing software to support the business of our customers and partners. You will work within a highly competent agile team, and you will be involved in continuously implementing, deploying, and driving new features as well as securing customer feedback. To succeed in this role, you hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybernetics or equivalent, and have experience with back-end systems integration. You have experience with the full software development lifecycle and deep knowledge with one or several higher-level programming languages like C# and. If you also possess excellent analytical skills and a fascination for understanding real world problems through data analysis and presentation, you should apply for this position!

This role is perfect for you who already have:

• Domain knowledge of maritime sector and maritime systems (for example radar, AIS, navigation systems, vessel control systems and automation).
• Experience with SW build tools, GitHub and cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
