We are now seeking a highly motivated engineer to join Vessel Systems, which is responsible for project deliveries of our core merchant and offshore products. The position is central for our Autonomy project deliveries and you will be part of the process from contract to hand-over to the customer. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with new technology in an innovative, and interdisciplinary international environment.

In our department Vessel Control System Automation, you will design and develop Autonomy solutions, and implement and test these solutions on existing and future Autonomy vessels. You will be part of a team with highly skilled engineers with focus on delivering world class systems on time, cost, and quality.

Key accountabilities

• In this role you will have SW Automation responsibilities in project from start to finish
• You will prepare for and participate in IAT and FAT
• Participate in some commissioning activities including CAT
• Assist other departments with technical assistance when needed
• Contribute to develop our Autonomy solutions for the future
• Some travel will be required when needed.

 

Qualifications and experience

• Technical College graduate or higher Technical education.
• Experience with Automation systems and/or knowledge about marine equipment and control systems.
• Minimum 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Good communication skills, fluent written and spoken English and Norwegian
