Are you a person with a strong analytical mind and successfully builds relations with clients? We are now looking for an Associate to join our Financial Strategy team in Stockholm. The Financial Strategy team is a specialist unit within Corporate Banking, Large Corporates & Financial Institutions, undertaking strategic advisory projects towards clients in our main segments; Energy, Large Corporates, Real Estate and Shipping & Offshore.

About the job
In this role, your main responsibilities will be to provide strategic advisory to our clients, as well as successfully build relations with our clients and other stakeholders. You will be working closely with the client teams in all our home market countries as well as other units in the bank. In addition to your local colleagues in Stockholm, you will also work closely with other Financial Strategy colleagues at other sites. Capital structure, debt capacity and credit rating advisory as well as how ESG impact our clients as an investment, are focus areas in this role. These activities are often conducted in close cooperation with relevant product partners. At SEB we are all team players and work tightly together to form best in class service to our customers.

Who are you?
This  role requires an analytical mind combined with strong interpersonal and communicational skills. Also, we are looking for a strong team player with preferably a few years of relevant experience from investment banking, financial consultancy or credit rating services. You need to be well organized and able to work with several simultaneous projects in different countries. Most importantly you would need to have the ambition and eagerness to develop yourself professionally. To succeed in this role, you would need to have a university degree with proven track record combined with excellent financial analysis skills. Excellent technical skills with Excel and PowerPoint are a valued as a merit.
