We are now hiring electronics design engineer for our development department. RTS develops hardware, firmware and mechanics for the worldwide subsea industry. Our products meet a rising demand for rigid solutions for data transfer, logging and interfacing.

The RTS Cube SDM, Nemo and Gen5 Mux is just some of our successful products designed in house at our premises in Åkrehamn, Norway

Job description:

• Active participation in designing new products from concept study to finished design.
• Design firmware for embedded systems using, among others, STM32 microcontrollers.
• Analog and digital circuit design using Eagle and LtSpice
• Project planning and quality control using GitLab
• Designing products for the ocean and subsea industry

Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Electronics or similar
• Experience with programming in C and Python
• Experience with PCB design
• Experience with version control using Git
• Good English and Norwegian skills written and spoken

• You can work both as part of a team and alone on a project.
• You work independently and systematically.
• You have good collaboration abilities, are flexible, and with a “let’s do it” attitude.
