We are seeking an Aftermarket Sales Manager Fleet operations in Kongsberg Maritime’s division Global Customer Support. We need a sales Manager with determination and ability to solve challenging technical tasks often within short time frames.

Acting as a reliable partner for our customers you can help them reach their goals, by using our competence to provide solutions for repair and overhaul and long-term maintenance agreements of the sailing fleet.

As Aftermarket Sales Manager for Fleet operations, you will be involved supporting our customers with Condition Monitoring, Health Management, Insight Services for the sailing fleet worldwide. In this role you will make a measurable difference to meet customers’ requirements for operation of their sailing fleet.

 

Key accountabilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in tendering processes, overseeing multi-disciplinary competence areas.
• Develop budget proposal and achieving the sales in line with our strategy.
• Responsible for aligning the technical specification and cost calculation according to our Sales Process
• Manage integration and interfaces with existing asset and if needed, provide technical assistance to customers, suppliers, concept design and feasibility studies.
• Develop and deliver system solutions that fulfil market requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications and experience

• Master or bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering or similar
• Capable to understand and interpretate instrumentation diagrams, architectural and mechanical documents
• Experience from working in the maritime business.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Preferably knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime’s product portfolio
