Administration and Security Coordinator


An exciting opportunity has arisen as Administration and Security Coordinatorwithin Offshore Production Systems (OPS). OPS is a delivery unit in Kongsberg Maritime and is responsible for offshore installation segment.

As an Administration and Security Coordinator, you will be an essential part of OPS, contributing to its success through various administrative responsibilities. Your tasks will include contract management, document preparation, meeting support, and ensuring adherence to established procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and an innate understanding of our business and functions.

We are seeking an individual who brings an educational foundation and practical experience to the table. A college graduate or certified apprentice with proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous administrative roles will thrive in this position.

 The ideal candidate is known for their independent, efficient, and structured work style, taking initiative and assuming accountability for outcomes. Clear and precise communication in both Norwegian and English is crucial, as is the ability to approach tasks with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.




  • Deliver management support including carrying out a range of contract management tasks and takes appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality
  • Has responsibility for preparing documents using a variety of computer applications, e.g., financial support, travel support, day to day tasks, Security support
  • Prepares minutes and reports on behalf of Project Engineering and OPS management. 
  • Wide variation in problems faced, proactive finding solutions
  • High-level understanding of the business or function served
  • Following a variety of company procedures and guidelines, delivers senior administrative services
  • Responsible for administrative tasks like gatherings, improvements, daily routines and documentation
  • Ensure that work is performed in accordance with directives, policies, QMS/HSE and other relevant procedures


Qualifications and experience

  • College graduate or certified apprentice.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with administrative tasks
  • Fluent written and spoken Norwegian and English.
