Jotun's R&D department is currently looking for two new technicians in our TopCoat Products department and Technology development department to help us develop new and great paint products for the marine and protective marked. The two new technicians will have our brand new R&D center at our headquarters in Sandefjord as their work location. In these positions, you will assist the chemists in developing and maintaining products by making, testing and evaluating paint, binder and raw materials to contribute to reach the goals of the Research and Development plan. You will also perform daily operations in the laboratory as part of the position. 

Kvalifikasjoner:

• Vocational school diploma (fagbrev) in the laboratory field, or relevant experience from industry.
• Preferably experience from lab/technician work, either from previous position or from education.
• Basic IT competence. The candidate must be comfortable using a computer including digital platforms.
• Be able to communicate in English.
• Depending on qualifications, it can be relevant to hire as R&D assistant.
