Act as a Technical Leader and/or a Project Manager in projects assigned by the R&D Management. This entails work internally; by planning, coordinating resources and communicating, and externally; with both customers and suppliers, in accordance to the R&D Plan and overall strategic directions.
 
Develop and maintain technology and products by planning, formulating, testing and evaluating coatings and raw materials in accordance to the scope of assigned projects. As well as, assure that our portfolio of products and brands are in line with the strategic needs.
 
Results from development and maintenance activities shall be systematically documented, analyzed and reported to ensure that commercial goals are met.
 
Be updated on technology advancement through internal and external contacts, suppliers, R&D institutions and other co-operation partners to bring new technology and know-how to the products and strengthen Jotun’s position in the market.”

MSc or PhD in organic, polymer or material chemistry.
