The business area European Wind and Solar (E) is responsible for development and ownership of wind and solar assets in Europe. The business area is also responsible for the project execution of large projects in Statkraft, the group procurement function and development of new business opportunities.

As we continue to grow across our European Markets; we are now recruiting for a Wind-Farm Performance Analyst/ Technical Report Writer on an 18 month maternity cover contract to strengthen the business area’s Asset Management Team. You will form part of a highly motivated team who ensure the safe, effective and efficient operation of customer assets where our aim is to be the exclusive service provider of choice for all clients both externally and internally. This role is based in our Cork, Ireland office.  You will report to the Operations Manager, Ireland.

Your role:

As a Wind-farm performance analyst/ technical report writer, your main responsibilities will be:

• Review the technical performance of the Statkraft operational fleet to prepare monthly client operational reports. This includes technical analysis of: Energy production, Turbine availability, Fault logs, Power curves, Grid curtailment, constraint, outages and Work logs.
• Lead monthly calls with our customers and communicate effectively the content of each report.
• Windfarm performance management and comparison against key KPI’s.
• Utilising Greenbyte Energy Cloud SCADA and OEM SCADA systems.
• Application of quality standards to Asset Operations (i.e. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO55001)
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement including improvement suggestions on work routines.
• Lead role out of Business BI platform for Asset Management for customer reports.

Your profile:

• University degree in engineering or technical disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or Renewables) with documented experience of working in reporting and presenting of technical data.
• Passion for renewables and ideally relevant working experience in the renewable energy industry.
• Strong multi-tasker with the ability to confidently present and communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Analytical and technically minded with strong numeracy, literacy and data management skills.
• Organized with excellent attention to detail along with the ability to meet reporting deadlines with the capacity to manage a demanding and fluctuating workload.
• Self- starter with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team to a high standard.
• Creative, eager to learn and highly flexible for a growing operations team in a fantastic company.
• Excellent application Microsoft Office (Excel VBA & Macro)
• SCADA experience is a considerable advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
